Sampling Instructions:
Your analysis is only as good as the sample sent to the lab. Do your best to get a representative sample.Sample Submission Instructions:
Ensure the right sample size is submitted; we only need about 2 - 3 cups of sample. Bring the sample in an approved clean container. Avoid heating the sample as the containers can become pressurized.**There will be an additional $5.00 handling fee if the container the sample is submitted in is dirty or too large and the lab needs to transfer the sample to another container or clean the container.**
Appropriate sampling containers are provided by Down to Earth Labs free of charge. You can drop by to pick them up anytime during business hours.
Please make sure you include a completed submission form with samples being dropped off or sent in. The form is available on the Files & Online Submissions tab at the top of this page where you can either download and print off the form or submit it online. Samples submitted without completed and signed submission forms will be placed on hold until all appropriate information has been received. Use a meaningful identification for the sample. Labeling the samples as 1,2,3 today may not make sense a month later.
